Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead Manage and Hold Accountable.
- Collaborate with the design team, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and the client to determine project needs and see project through to completion
- Plan construction processes and be able to build and manage schedules effectively.
- Supervise daily activities on our jobsites and ensure that strict quality standards are met.
- Manage materials, making sure they are on the jobsite when needed.
- Keep projects on budget, on schedule & negotiate with subcontractors when required.
- Attending bi-weekly project progress meetings for each job and preparing agendas for each meeting (with design manager).
- Create Daily Logs for our clients in Buildertrend for each project every day
- Update schedule weekly on Buildertrend
- Create PO's for labor and materials approved on the jobsite
- Manage sub-contractor bids
- Update weekly billing spreadsheet
- Communicate with office and client any changes to the scope of work to create - change orders
- Attend and participate in weekly team meetings, and Daily Huddle calls.
- Promote a positive working environment in the field.
- Establish effective lines of communication with our clients
- Establish effective lines of communication with our subcontractors
- Complete projects on time, on budget & exceeding client expectations
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Fantastic interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to learn and use project management software
- Buildertrend experience is a bonus
Education & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in residential construction project management
