As an employee at Real Property Management, you are part of a team and will be leading a team and responsible for property management operations. Youll have an intimate understanding of what we do and a full appreciation for the importance of the value we provide to our clients.
Our focus is on building relationships, not just tenants and toilets. You are the trusted advisor to both property owners and the residents we serve. Youll have regular contact with the property owner to advise them on rent pricing and maintenance items.
Your Responsibilities as a Property Manager
- Portfolio Management - overseeing unit turns, maintenance work order progress, enforcing lease when necessary, acting as the liaison between tenant and owner, meeting deadlines around move-in and move-out procedure.
- Educate & Advise Clients - Youll educate the property owner on various aspects of property performance and help them see how Real Property Management goes above and beyond other companies in taking care of their properties. You will help them make decisions on rent pricing, expense management, and more.
- Hands-On - Proactive hands on approach to creating and maintaining professional owner & tenant relationships, initiating necessary actions needed to get the job done and done well.
- Property Performance - You will ensure property performance in a variety of key performance indicators, such as: property occupancy, rent delinquency, budget variance, maintenance management, and property marketing.

- Experience in the field of Property Management & Real Estate is a plus but not required.
Job Requirements for the Property Manager Position
These are the minimum requirements to be considered for this position.
- Alaska Real Estate License.
- You must have a working knowledge of various computer software's.
- You must have prior experience in a customer-facing role.
- You must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be available to work 40 hours per week (with some flexibility).
Benefits & Pay
Compensation for the Property Manager position is a base pay of $24.00 per hour.
- $100 a month towards AFLAC
- 80 hours of PTO time to be used as Vacation/ Sick time
- IRA Contribution
- 8 days of paid holiday time
- Office closures for holiday time (unpaid)
- 24 hours allowed unpaid time-off for any reason
- $25.00 per month cell phone reimbursement
- License costs for holding and renewing outside of CE credit class costs
- Participation in company bonus program (Bonusly) that converts to gift cards/cash
- Company vehicle for leasing activities / Mile reimbursement.
