Job Description
Under administrative direction, provides psychological services to students with educational and emotional problems; supervision and training to graduate students; and outreach and consultation to the university community.
Salary Range
$72,000 - $76,000 per year; DOE

Essential Duties
· Provides individual and group counseling services in a time-limited service delivery model.
· Provides emergency/after hours and on-call services as assigned.
· Provides outreach programming to the campus community.
· Serves as a liaison to university departments.
· Provides consultation services to faculty, staff, and university departments.
· Trains and supervises pre-doctoral interns, practicum students and/or paraprofessional trainees.
· Participates in agency program evaluation and research.
· Performs additional professional service based on individual skill and interests consistent with agency need.
· Engages in professional development activities to maintain licensure/certification.
Minimum Qualifications
Earned doctorate in clinical or counseling psychology from a doctoral program accredited by the American Psychological Association AND one (1) year experience providing psychological counseling and therapy to college students or late adolescents Completion of an internship accredited by the American Psychological Association. Licensed psychologist in the state of Arizona or obtainment of licensure as a psychologist in the state of Arizona within one (1) year of employment.
Desired Qualifications
· Training, experience and demonstrated skill in delivering clinical supervision
· Evidence of bilingual in English and one or more of the following: Spanish, Arabic, Farsi, Mandarin, Hindi
· Experience working with Native American/American Indian/First Nation Students
· Evidence of training in trauma-informed clinical practices
· Experience with crisis assessment and intervention
· Work experience in the military
Working Environment
· Activities are performed in an environmentally controlled office setting subject to extended periods of sitting, keyboarding, and manipulating a computer mouse
· Required to stand for varying lengths of time and walk moderate distances to perform work
· Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, pushing and pulling up to 25 pounds
· Regular activities require ability to quickly change priorities which may include and/or are subject to resolution of conflicts
· Ability to clearly communicate to perform essential functions
· Regular use of standard office equipment including, but not limited to: computer workstation/laptop (keyboard, monitor, mouse), printer, fax, calculator, copier, telephone and associated computer/technology peripherals
· Receives periodic review of work activities to ensure adherence to established goals, objectives, and deliverables
