Pump Mechanic

Were hiring a Pump Mechanic for our Southeast Houston area client! We are looking for experienced, reliable, hard-working employees who can interview immediately!

DESCRIPTION OF YOUR DREAM JOB:

• Job Title: Pump Mechanic
• Location: Southeast Houston
• Pay: $20-$25/hr.
• Hours: 7am-4:30pm, but flexible to work until 6pm
• Duration: temp-to-hire
• Description of Duties: Receive, disassemble, inspect and repair submersible and centrifugal pumps and related rotating equipment; Paint, package and prepare finished product for shipping
• Requirements: 3+ years experience in a pump repair shop, prior experience repairing ANSI and other submersible / centrifugal pumps and related equipment, must have strong knowledge of ANSI standards, ability to read machine drawings and OEM pump manuals, ability to write detailed equipment reports, experience with pneumatic and hydrostatic testing, must be able to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment
