Radiologist Liaison Coordinator
Job Description
Yuma Regional Medical Center is a 406-bed facility located in sunny, southwestern Arizona. We have a main hospital campus, off-site cancer center, outpatient laboratory services, and numerous clinics as a part of our medical group, including a primary care facility in the Foothills - 41 locations in total.
Summary:
Radiologist Service Coordinator is responsible for assisting management in overall day-to-day operations and provides support to our radiologist, clients, ensuring timely reading of exams. Communicate directly with physicians, radiology team and hospital support staff to ensure reporting metrics are being met as set forth by Radiologist Leadership. Radiology Services Coordinators are responsible for troubleshooting, escalating patient care, answering phone calls from clients, and fulfilling requests from Radiologists including chat support and monitoring. Independently monitor worklists and applications. Ensure timely turnaround and response times. Handle incoming support calls from Radiologists and clients. Maintain open lines of communication with Radiologists and Teammates. Self-Seeking initiative In troubleshooting problems related to workflow and patient support. Following critical exam workflows, procedures, and protocols. Maintaining open lines of communication with hospital clients, outpatient imaging centers, healthcare providers, and our internal staff. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence positive outcomes for both our patients and physicians. Should have previous radiology, EMR (EPIC preferred), radiology report system software, PACS and/or similar advanced level computer skills.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
2+ years of related experience
Work Schedule: 8-hours, Days, Monday through Friday
