DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF THE CLASS:
The Realty Aide is responsible for providing clerical assistance, preparing land inventories, lease distribution and
assisting individuals with land ownership questions; also responsible for ensuring work performed is in
accordance with the guidelines of Code of Federal Regulations Title 25 Indians and Title 23 Public Land, Land
Titles and Records (TSRs) and any applicable court orders.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
0 Receive telephone calls and greet visitors on a daily basis; ascertain the nature of inquiries and direct to
appropriate staff or compile data from branch and agency records to satisfy the request (i.e., income received
from a lease, legal descriptions, geographical location of allotments, enrollment numbers, and/or other data
of a personal nature).
0 Prepare land inventories by ascertaining allotment numbers, the name of the original allotters, the legal
description of the allotment, maps of the allotted land location, and the extent of the landowners interest in
the allotment and the origin of the interest.
0 Prepare income data in response to verbal and written requests from landowners; conduct search of ?nancial
records, leases, and lease payment schedules.
0 Type in ?nal form correspondence, reports, leases, payment schedules, tribal resolutions, and other documents
required by appropriate staff pertaining to property management ?mctions.
0 Receive and review incoming correspondence and prepare ?les and other data for use by appropriate staff.
0 Prepare lease payment schedules from landownership consolidation list and IRMS Ownership System, right-
of-way schedules of damages, and other land-use documents de?ning individual land interest and ownership.

- Coding of information to be taken from lease documents, enrollment folders, individual index cards, probate
records and other sources onto coding forms for inputting data.

- Reconcile the program budget on a monthly basis and provide a complete report to supervisor and
administrative of?cer on a monthly basis.
0 Perform other related duties as assigned.REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE SKILL AND ABILITY:Knowledge of the physical layout of the Gila River Indian Community and ability to locate landowners at
place of residence.Knowledge of land description, realty terminology, and title searches.Knowledge of real estate transactions pertaining to acquisitions and disposal.Knowledge of real estate functions such as appraisal procedures and recording transactions.Knowledge and skill in interpersonal relationships and the ability to interact with diverse groups of individual
landowners.Knowledge of Code of Federal Regulations, Land Titles and Records guidelines.Must be extremely meticulous in typing with accuracy in spelling, grammar and punctuation.Skill and ability in preparing reports and other required documentation related to the project.Skill in communication, responding to questions asked by landowners and diverse groups.Ability to work under pressure and with time sensitive deadlines.Ability to speak and understand some Pima or Maricopa language preferred.Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, Community Of?cials
and the general public.Ability to perform all physical requirements of the position; agree to maintain a Drug-free workplace.REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of one (1) year of professional Realty work experience working
with title searches, real property appraisals, preparing and recording real estate transactions or any combination
of education, training and work experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of this position.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Required to pass a background check.Required to obtain a Tribal Operators permit. Valid state drivers license with a current proof of driving
record for the past 39 months will be required to qualify for a tribal driving permit. Proof of driving record
must be submitted with application and must not be more than 60 days old from the date of submission
of the application.Non-Supervisory, Hourly Position
