One of our clients is seeking a Registered Nurse to work in a school setting in Fauquier County, VA.
SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
* Provide basic nursing care to individuals and/or groups of students
* Provide routine, on-site services to students, including, but not limited to checking vital signs, taking temperatures, basic triage of students with health/wellness complaints
* Adminster approved prescription and over the counter medications to students
* Support identification of students in need of additional medical care and contacts appropriate staff and parent(s) or guardian(s)
* Maintain accurate documentation of services provided
* Will act as a mandated reporter, commuincating any concerns to administration, staff and/or faculty
* Possess a thorough understanding of and abide by professional Code of Ethics.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* Associates degree minimum, with a active RN or LPN license in Virginia (or any compact state that allows the practice of nursing in Virginia)
* Minimum of one year of experience providing nursing care to adolescents
* Ability to complete state, local and federal background investigation, based on client requirements
