General Description of Duties: The Residential Program Manager (RPM) is responsible for the overall supervision of the residential homes and the House Leads. RPM is required to work shifts and cover as needed and will be required to take on-call responsibilities. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Implement procedures for assigned residential home; participate in long and short range planning of programs. Conduct case management activities including routing required paperwork to appropriate Adelante personnel.
- Conducts activities in accordance with all appropriate standards including HED quality standards, safety standards and other applicable licensing requirements/standards.
- Responsible for assisting with the development of client outcomes and training procedures; maintains clients records, data, budgeting client personal spending money and submits bills and check requests as needed in a timely manner.
- Oversees and/or directly implements all ISPs, outcomes, training for residents to achieve goals, outcomes and service plans. Attends IDT and ISP meetings; provides individualized assessment of data collected; conducts weekly audits of required paperwork in each home.
- Provides hands-on assistance with clients in need of behavioral/crisis intervention; coordinates and schedules training for staff regarding the implementation of individualized service plans and behavior support programs.
- Trains Residential Leads to assesses, documents and submits maintenance needs/requests (vehicle/home) via intranet system to Facilities Department; ensures established safety policies and procedures are followed.
- Implements required safety drills and completes safety checklist, etc. as required; insures staffs training requirements are current; ensures staff is scheduled for required trainings and re-certifications on a timely basis.
- Assists with schedules and facilitates monthly house staff meetings and other agency meetings as required; trains Residential Leads to carry out RPM duties during his/her absence.
- Ensures assigned residential home is adequately staffed at all times according to client needs, ensure adequate staffing during staff trainings, PTO. Schedules and conducts on-site interview process at assigned homes; interviews candidates, meets at home and conducts performance reviews, disciplines assigned staff.
- Assists Residential Leads with creating and utilizing Monthly Activity calendars for the home to include, PTO, client doctors appointments, outings/activities, etc. Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Three (3) years experience working with the disabled adult population or related human services field required.
- Associates degree in a related human services field may substitute for working experience.
- One (1) year supervisory experience required.
- Ability to speak English clearly, distinctly and cordially with internal and external customers of Adelante.
- Ability to read and write English in order to understand and interpret written procedures. This includes the ability to give and receive instructions in written and verbal forms and to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients, supervisors and co-workers.
- Excellent organizational skills and time management skills are imperative in order to be successful in this role.

Other Requirements: Must pass pre-employment drug and TB screen, and Agency, Federal and State Department of Health background investigations. Must have own, reliable transportation and an insurable driving record. Must possess a valid NM driver's license, and proof of auto liability insurance. Must be able to bend, stoop, balance, push, pull, frequently, requires the ability to sit at a desk and perform typing/keyboarding tasks frequently. Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs., with assistance or independently, bend, stoop, reach above shoulder(s), balance, push, pull frequently. Must be able to sit, crawl, climb 2-4 feet, crouch, kneel, and carry occasionally. Must be able to support up to 130 lbs. Adelante is a drug free workplace.
