Respiratory Therapist - PRN - Nights

Odessa Regional Medical Center was founded in 1975 as Odessa Women’s and Children’s Hospital. Through the years, the hospital grew and evolved into a full-service healthcare facility and the name was changed to Odessa Regional Medical Center to reflect its larger campus and more comprehensive services. The hospital has 225 beds and has approximately 250 physicians on staff and has over 700 employees.

About the Shift:

6p - 6a PRN nights CRT or RRT.

Under the supervision of the Director of Respiratory Therapy, the Respiratory Therapist is responsible for providing cardiopulmonary care services in accordance with specific physician’s orders, department policies and procedures. Participates in Performance Improvement Activities. Provides service to age range from neonate to geriatric.

Regulatory Requirements:

1. Current TMB Respiratory Therapist Licensure.
2. Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy.
3. Current NPR Certifications - if working in the NICU
4. Current BLS certification, ACLS and PALS
5. Current Stable Certification for NICU, if working in NICU
6. Fire safety training
