Under the direction of the Chief Risk Officer but as direct report of the Director of ERM, the Risk Reporting and Analytics Manager will assist in building out the Enterprise Risk Management reporting and analytics framework. The primary focus of this position will be to build out a framework that will provide the right level of transparency to senior executive management, the HTFL Board of Directors as well as other constituents, including but not limited to business line management, bank executives, auditors and regulators to support appropriate risk management oversight by Company management and the Board. This position will devise risk reporting, trending and analytics designed to drive consistency, repeatability, scale and ability to audit.

PRIMARY & ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.    Works with the Chief Risk Officer and Director of ERM on the development of Key Risk Indicators (KRI’s) framework, including risk appetite measures - risk tolerances and limits.  Continuously evaluate KRIs and KPIs working cross-collaboratively with key constituents including business units and support functions around their on-going relevancy, materiality and trending.
2.    Develops formal reporting process to support the Risk Appetite Statement and reporting framework (subset of the KRI framework).    This includes any limit breach reporting, escalation and tracking of management’s corrective actions.
3.    Facilitates formal Enterprise Risk Management dashboard framework which entails gathering data and reporting from various constituents to assemble reporting at the risk pillar level in alignment with the Company’s risk taxonomy.  Risk reporting framework shall include trending and analysis of key facets for the following risks:
i.    Credit
ii.    Liquidity
iii.    Market 
iv.    Operational
v.    Compliance/Legal
vi.    Reputation
vii.    Strategic 
4.    Prepares reporting in a timely fashion for management level committees as needed, including the Executive Risk Management Committee (ERMC) and the HTLF Board of Directors (Audit Committee or to be formed Risk Committee).  
5.    Works with internal business intelligence to assess current tools within the Company to create greater efficiencies around risk reporting and analytics (data warehouse) including researching of external tools that can facilitate risk management reporting.
6.    Assists in preparation and gathering of materials for internal audits and/or regulatory examinations.
7.    Works cross-functionally across the organization and collaboratively with other members of the ERM department including Business Line Risk Managers on the development of KRIs, risk reporting and analytics needed on an ad-hoc basis.
8.    Completes all necessary Company mandatory e-learning courses as required.  
9.    Engages in ad-hoc projects or requests as deemed appropriate by the CRO and/or Director of ERM.


REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
1.    3 years or more of experience in banking, analytics role or risk management function.
2.    Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or business-related study
3.    Significant analytical capabilities, including strong Excel skills and facile at learning business intelligence tools/applications. Experience with SharePoint is a plus.
4.    Practical knowledge of tools and techniques, frameworks used in risk management, an ability to quickly identify and quantify levels of risk and pose mitigating actions.
5.    Experience with SOX, COSO and ERM Principles, preferred.
6.    Ability to work well with others at all levels of the organization.
7.    Accustomed to working in a fast-paced dynamic environment.  
8.    Solid project management, process implementation and maintenance skills.  
9.    Good written and oral communication skills.
