Pay Range

$32. 46 - $45.71/hr

The RN Flights applies the nursing process to alleviate human suffering and enhance quality of life by combining excellent medical care with appropriate and safe transportation. The RN Flights staff are self-managing individuals who extend hospital resources into the community, are committed to professional growth and participate in regional education.

What You Bring/Job Requirements

Qualified external applicants eligible for a $15,000 sign on bonus! Cannot be a current or recent Centura employee to qualify. Minimum of 1 year experience required. Must be hired into a Full-Time or Part-time position; PRN positions are not eligible.

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following

  • 5 years of recent critical care experience required
  • Previous ICU experience preferred
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required for new graduates, preferred for experienced RN's required
  • BSN Preferred
  • Current state RN license for applicable state of employment or current RN license from a participating state in National Compact Licensure required
  • Current Basic Life Support through American Heart Association required
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support required
  • Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support upon hire or within six months of hire/transfer required
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program upon hire or within 12 months of hire/transfer required
  • Certified Flight Registered Nurse upon hire or within 2 years of hire/transfer required
  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass the annual review of driving record for safe vehicle operations required
  • Must maintain current on all certifications required by Commission for Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems required
  • Transport Provider Advanced Trauma Course or Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) upon hire or within 12months of hire/transfer required

Schedule- 12 hour shifts rotating between days and nights, no set days and includes weekends and holidays

Physical Requirements

Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
