One of our clients is seeking a motivated professional to work as a Nurse in Burlington County.
SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
* Medication administration in accordance with State and DCPP regulations
* Comply with standards set forth by the New Jersey State Board of Nursing and
Agency policies
* Observe and document resident response to psychotropic and non-psychotropic
medications in the Electronic Medical Administration Record (EMAR) system
* Complete APN/Physician orders
* Provide on-going nursing assessments and nursing treatments on residents in
designated programs in accordance with NJ nursing licensing standards and agencies
policies.
* Participate in admission process by completing nursing assessments and assistance
with required nursing paperwork
* Assist with the coordination of mental health and psychiatric service to Consumers
and communication between psychiatric service providers and appropriate Agency
employees.
* Actively participant in interdisciplinary and treatment team meetings as is relevant,
appropriate and necessary.
* Provide health education and disease prevention strategies to residents as indicated on
agency approved curriculum.
* Evaluate Consumers post restraint and document findings appropriately.
* Monitor flow of medical supplies
* Monitor the flow of medical supplies and health maintenance equipment
* Adhere to Office of Licensing Requirements and DCPP regulations
CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* Must have NJ Nursing license (RN) - active and in good standing
* Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience (Some clients will take *NEW GRADS*)
* Ability to complete and pass clearances: Criminal background check and DMV check
* Must be able to produce current medical/health documents including: physical examination, Tuberculosis/TB Skin Test, and CPR
* Must be vaccinated and boosted for COVID (Some clients are willing to accept exemptions so long as they are written documented and the contractor is willing to undergo weekly testing)
