Location San Marcos, TX (need to be onsite) Hours M-F 9-5pm (OT available) Contract Duration 9 months - Opportunity for conversion depending on performance and requirement Pay Rate 25HR We are looking for a candidate that will be part of a Robotics team, deploying a first of its kind robotics system. Currently in the testing phase of the new product and its kind of RD team and working on the product built part of your time. This person will run system and keep the robotics system in operation and making sure the system is fed with work. Majority of the time will be spent on logging any issues, inform of tickets and talk with the software engineers to describe the problems. SERVICES TO BE PERFORMED Support commissioning of beta robotic workcells Support software deployments of beta robotic workcells Data collection using beta robotic workcells Execution of quality assurance tests Writing of test reports Filing of supportbug tickets REQUIRED SKILLS MS Office Suite Proficient with hand tools Proficient writing test reports PREFERRED SKILLS Experience in a Quality Assurance role Experience with industrial robotic systems Experience debugging industrial control systems Experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment Experience with Linux shell environments (command line interfaces) EEO Employer Apex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
