Job Description
- Supervise daily security operations and personnel at the Seattle office
- Develop and enforce site-specific and VIP security procedures and emergency response plans
- Monitor surveillance systems and conduct regular inspections of the premises
- Coordinate with building security, external law enforcement, and emergency responders
- Investigate security incidents and prepare detailed incident reports
- Schedule shifts, delegate duties, and ensure adequate coverage at all times
- Inventory, maintain, deploy, and secure firearms
- Train new security staff and provide ongoing coaching and performance evaluations
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal security regulations
- Maintain detailed records and documentation of incidents, patrols, and other relevant activities
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and disturbances
- Proven experience in a security supervisory or management role (3+ years preferred)
- Active shooter training/certifications; certified instructor is a plus
- Background in law enforcement, military, or corporate security is a plus
- Experience in training physical security professionals is a plus
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Familiarity with security equipment and surveillance systems
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-stress situations
- Firearm certifications and appropriate licensing/permits
- Valid security license and certifications as required by local laws
- Familiarity and knowledge of MS Office products
- CPR, AED, and First Aid certification Crisis management and de-escalation techniques
- Proficiency with incident reporting software and security tech platforms
- Strong multi-tasking abilities
- Must be able to respond to emergencies at any hour, including nights and weekends

The annualized salary range for this position in Washington is $98,000 to $110,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on the candidates education, training, experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. Full time employees may be eligible for a bonus, health insurance with an optional HSA, long term disability, dental insurance, vision care, telemedicine and virtual short term solution based counseling services, life insurance, Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, subsidized backup care and caregiving resources, 401(k), vacation, sick time, 11 paid holidays each year and an employee assistance program. For full-time employees, the initial vacation benefit is 15 days per year and 11 days of sick leave per year, accrued bi-weekly.
