Senior Development & Young Leaders Manager

Senior Development & Young Leaders Manager (New York, NY). Design and implement the annual fundraising plan and engagement strategy for the Young Leaders program in New York, including the planning and execution of major fundraising events with attendance exceeding 300 guests. Recruit, engage, and support the Young Leaders Committee to advance program goals and fundraising initiatives. Develop and manage budgets, timelines, and logistics for Young Leaders events; oversee vendors, contracts, and venue arrangements to ensure cost effective and high impact outcomes. Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing and prospective donors through strategic outreach, engagement opportunities, and stewardship activities. Manage outreach to smaller recurring donors not directly connected to events. Serve as an active member of the Communications Committee, contributing to short term and long term communications strategy planning and be actively involved in the organization's website development and rebranding efforts. Ensure that all donor interactions, data, research findings, and meeting notes are accurately recorded and maintained in the organization's customer relationship management (CRM) system. Represent the organization in a professional and ambassadorial capacity at fundraising and stakeholder events. Participate in marketing and outreach activities, including the creation and maintenance of mailing lists, invitations, presentations, event advertisements, email campaigns, and promotional materials. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations or a closely related field and 3 years experience as Communications Associate, Development Associate, Donor Relations Coordinator, Fundraising Communications Coordinator or any closely related position in the nonprofit sector. Must have demonstrated experience in fundraising and public relations within the nonprofit sector. Must have demonstrated experience with a nonprofit Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
