Zillow, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager, Rentals Operations (JOB # P745916) for its Seattle, WA office.
Job Duties: Develop and implement effective fraud strategies to support appropriate balance between operational cost, risk, and customer experience; analyze data using mathematical models, techniques, and software to conduct qualitative and quantitative economic analyses; manage team of listing review specialists to monitor rental fraud and increase efficiency of automated fraud detection tools; work with ML and AI modeling teams in building algorithms to counter rental fraud; conduct periodic analysis of fraud screening results to fine tune fraud model in catching new market trends; work closely with engineers and interact cross-functionally with other teams to improve operational workflows via process improvements and automation; troubleshoot issues and product vulnerabilities to implement quality improvements in collaboration with product engineering teams; work closely with client services team and other business partners to ensure clients receive best service and solutions; establish performance management framework for listing review team that lead to increased transparency and accountability; identify risks and prevented losses related to fraud activities/high-risk behaviors and suggest preventative solutions; review high risk transactions and accounts for potential fraudulent activity with the use of internal and external tools and verification systems. Build and improve the data oversight principles responsible for ensuring data integrity within the rental platform; Manage and maintain system integrations between real estate feeds and rental listing systems; Develop operational, legal and implementation framework for onboarding new feeds data providers; Design policies, processes and tools for monitoring real time/bulk data feeds in order to improve system resiliency; Design auto-detection of system deviation that ensure Legal Compliance of Fair Housing guidelines; Lead managers tasked with protecting Zillow revenue, reputation and market awareness (Fraud, Feed and Quality Assurance teams) Telecommuting permitted.
Requirements: Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Economics or a related field. Two (2) years of experience in: Managing and configuring CRM tools; Administrate and configure Content Management Systems; SQL reports to analyze and interpret fraud trends in real estate industry; and Agile software management tools such as JIRA.
Alternate Requirements: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Economics or a related field. Five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in: Managing and configuring CRM tools; Administrate and configure Content Management Systems; SQL reports to analyze and interpret fraud trends in real estate industry; and Agile software management tools such as JIRA.
Salary: $156,838 to $179,600 per year
