Job Description

Zillow, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer Analyst for its Seattle, Washington office.

Job Duties: Responsible for building, implementing, and maintaining the company's backend systems that fuel mobile and web apps, ensuring they are fast, scalable, resilient, and extendable. Work on services range from real-time traffic monitoring to event-driven services that process and act on changing data. Participate in features' design discussion and decisions, designing efficient and resilient services that strictly meet SLA needs and raising the speed and quality bar for shipped code. Own projects from concept through deployment, finding and removing obstacles from both consumer and technology perspectives. Mentor junior developers on the team and cultivate design and coding practices within the team. Telecommuting permitted.
