Job Description
Premera Blue Cross is seeking a Software Development Engineer IV for its Mountlake Terrace, WA office.
Job Duties: Identify data requirements, outline narratives, and collaborate with our capacity management team to create effective solutions for our organization. Recommend appropriate technologies and system solutions that scale and consider a system-wide and architectural view. Collaborate with various teams to gather necessary information, implement new features, and create and own digital solutions. Develop, modify, and maintain applications using agile methodologies such as Xtreme programming (XP), test driven development (TDD), and pair programming (PP). Provide design and technical consulting expertise for small to medium sized projects and analyze and resolve productions problems, identifying areas for improvement. Telecommuting permitted.
Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent, in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. Experience Requirements: Four (4) years of experience in software development, information technology, or a related field, including:
Working in all stages of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) utilizing Microsoft .NET technologies such as C#, VB.Net, Java script, or SQL.
Using and creating automated test tools and cloud solutions.
Applying Agile methodologies, such as SCRUM, and working in an Agile environment.
Developing and enhancing solutions using Azure cloud technologies, CI/CD, event driven architecture, ETL, and TDD.

Salary: $180,710.00 to $180,710.00 per year
