Job Description
Software Developer (GNY Equipment, Inc.; Bay Shore, NY): Dvlp, test, & maintain scalable cloud-based enterprise applics to streamline bus. processes. Dvlp & maintain backend systms using Java/J2EE & rltd technologies. Reqmts: Masters or foreign equiv deg in Comp Sci, S/ware Engg, Info Technology, or closely rltd field + 3 yrs exp in position offd or rltd occup working as s/ware engineer performing full lifecycle s/ware dvlpmt. Employer will accept Bachelors or foreign equiv deg in Comp Sci, S/ware Engg, Info Technology, or closely rltd field + 5 yrs exp in position offd or rltd occup working as S/ware Engineer performing full lifecycle s/ware dvlpmt. Must have 3 yrs exp in: working w/ relational d/bases & SQL; working w/ Java/J2EE & relational d/bases incl MySQL; dvlpg & supporting distributed systms & enterprise applics; working w/ object-oriented dsgn principles & s/ware dvlpmt best practices; working w/ CI/CD tools & frameworks incl Jenkins & JUnit.
