Specialist I, Material Data Analyst

Mesquite Modules Corporation is seeking a Specialist I, Material Data Analyst for its Mesquite, TX office. Job Duties: Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials within the Material Center. Ensure accurate and efficient material handling processes to meet operational needs. Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular cycle counts. Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages or excesses and coordinate replenishment activities as needed. Identify opportunities for improving material handling processes and workflows. Implement best practices to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize errors. Conduct inspections of incoming and outgoing materials to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Address and resolve any quality issues or discrepancies. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in all material handling activities. Promote a culture of safety and conduct regular safety audits. Maintain accurate records of material transactions, including receipts, transfers, and shipments. Prepare and analyze reports on material usage and inventory metrics. Work closely with other departments, such as procurement, production, and logistics, to coordinate material needs and resolve any issues. Support cross-functional teams in achieving operational goals. Train and mentor junior staff on material handling procedures and best practices. Provide guidance and support to ensure adherence to established processes. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field. Also requires education or experience in each of the following:

" Data modeling, database design, and ETL processes to support reporting and analytics

" Performing variance analysis, identifying data discrepancies, and supporting process optimization across operational teams

" Inventory management, production transactions, and data reconciliation using ERP system including SAP and Oracle

" Utilizing SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis in production and inventory environments

" Automating reporting and data processing using Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables) and Python
