Listed is the base hiring salary range offered for this position. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors, including but not limited to skills and experience. The salary range listed is just one component of the total rewards/compensation package offered to candidates.

Mid = $51.03
Max = $61.23
Summary:
The Speech Language Pathologist evaluates and creates individualized treatment plans to help restore, maintain, or prevent decline of a patients communication and swallowing functionality.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluates functional needs and outcomes, and consults with other specialists and physicians. Reviews patients functional needs and creates Speech Language Pathology care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Performs video fluoroscopy under the direction of a Radiologist as needed.
- Instruct patients in biofeedback, cognitive retraining, communication devises, muscle reeducation, swallowing exercises and other types of functional activities. Utilizes equipment, aids, and manual means to meet patients functional goals.
- Adapts patients care plan and care techniques as needed based on patients progress towards functional goals.
- Directs activities of support staff in accordance with the care plan to achieve patients functional goals.
- Practices organization and departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality improvement program, safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
- Documents evaluations, treatment goals, and plans. Regularly updates documentation based on patient progress.
- Enhance professional growth and development of self and others through participation in educational programs, and team meetings.
- Other duties as assigned.
Credentials:
Essential:
- BASIC LIFE SUPPORT (BLS)
- SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY (CCC-SLP)
- Speech Language Pathologist License State of AZ
- MASTER'S DEGREE
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from American Speech, Language and Hearing Association or eligible as Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidate under supervisor of a certified and/or licensed SLP
- 1+ years related experience in Speech Pathology preferred
