The Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community (SRPMIC) is a sovereign tribe located in the metropolitan Phoenix area. Bounded by the cities of Scottsdale, Tempe, Mesa and Fountain Hills, the Community serves over 10,800 tribal members, and all persons conducting business over approximately 96 square miles area of residential, agricultural and commercial lands, as a full-service government entity.
What the job looks like:
We are seeking a solution oriented, highly skilled and professional HR Team member to join our dynamic HR team. You will be responsible for performing a variety of technical, analytical, and consultative tasks related to employee relations. As a team member you play a key role in facilitating, mediating, and resolving employee complaints, while providing expert advice on policies and best practices, to all levels of employees.
As an active and engaged team member you will have the ability to develop and maintain collaborative and positive relationships with both employees and management to create a harmonious and productive work environment.

- Bachelors' degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Human Resources or related area and nine (9) years of experience in Human Resources professional work, and two (2) years specifically in an employee relations role
- Strong understanding of employee relations practices, confidentiality, ethical standards, and demonstrate exceptional customer service and communication skills
