We work with commercial, government and educators across the state to bring our expertise of furniture into their environments to meet their vision and exceed their expectations.

Brief Description:

 Coordinate and implement the design process for commercial, educational, healthcare and government furniture projects, from the initial sales consultation through programming and preliminary design, specification, client presentation, and working drawings. Designer will work together with assigned sales staff. The projects will vary in size, complexity, scope, and duration. annual salary range $52,000.00 to $65,000.00. Onsite Designer needed.

Position Responsibilities:

 •  Utilize space planning, specification, and finish selection skills on all projects

 •  Utilize AutoCAD and Configura CET

 •  Working knowledge of MS Office

 •  Implement time management skills, meeting all commitments and deadlines, communicate effectively when additional help is required

 •  Manage and maintain multiple Design projects of varying size, complexity, scope and duration

 •  Develop working knowledge of our furniture portfolio 

 •  Value engineering skills

 •  Develop ability to think ‘end to end’ and know when to do the right thing at the right time in the design process

 •  Demonstrate presentation skills, graphic and oral, be comfortable and coherent in any customer interaction

 •  Understand and adhere to all design department processes and procedures

 

Position Requirements

 •  2+ years design experience in education and office design highly desired, specifically furniture systems & early education application and specifications

 •  Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design

 •  AutoCAD, Configura CET, and 3D Visual Rendering Software knowledge proficiency is preferred

 •  Basic knowledge of space planning, specification and finish selection skills as it relates to corporate office and education design

 •  Good problem-solving skills 

 •  Have the capacity for some travel

  • Good presentation and communication skills both oral and graphic. 

 •    This role is based in Colorado Springs and requires an in-office presence working in a collaborative team environment.
