Sr. IT System Engineer

Gould Intelligent (an Arizona company) is seeking a Sr. IT System Engineer for a contract to hire position in Northwest Phoenix, AZ. Work will generally be onsite Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm, however the candidate must be able to work flexible hours including nights and weekends as the needs of the business require. Pay is $40 - $53/hr.

Candidate will engineer highly complicated professional network, cloud and security solutions. Will develop infrastructure diagrams & designs and provide support for infrastructure, security, and application development.

Candidate must have expert level skills in Lenovo Unified Storage (Natapp FAS) solutions. Must also have expert level skills in either Cisco (Catalyst), Hewlett-Packard (Aruba), or Mellanox/Invidia (Cumulus/NVue). Candidate must have experience administering an Active Directory Domain and maintaining backups for the NAS production server. Preferred candidate will have familiarity with TrueNAS, project management experience, tape library experience, and/or experience with network mapping & documentation.
