Evonik Corporation seeks a Sr. Process Engineer (Mapleton, IL) to supprt plnt prcssses, with a focus on cyanoethylation, hydrogenation, alkoxylation, & quaternization based prcss tchnlgies. Req’s a Bach dgr in Materials Sci & Eng’g, Chem Eng’g, or rltd & 8 yrs of exp in optmzng eng’g prcsses within a mfg facility. Mst have the followng exp: prvdng tchncl spprt for prcss trblshootng & optmztion to imprv mfg plnt grwth, safety, & prftblty; followng OSHA CFR 1910.119 PSM & EPA RMP regs; dsgnng, szng, & spcfyng equip, instrmnttion, piping, & cntrl systms; dsgnng Prssr Relief Systms, incl szng & specs; prvdng Prcss Hzrd Anlyss & idntfction of req’d PSI; usng ASPEN Plus or othr simulation sftwr; exp with DCS control systm; & intrdcng new prdcts & participting in pilot & trial mfg runs.
