Job Summary CORRECTIONAL HEALTH
The Senior Radiologic Technologist (x-ray technologist or radiographer) is responsible for providing patient care and technical expertise in the operation of all x-ray equipment for diagnostic imaging purposes. Minimum Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma/GED
Licensure & Certification: Cert Medical Radiologic Technologist; license by Texas Medical Board (TMB) required
Radiographer-by the ARRT
Basic Life Support- Current CPR certification from a hospital- based American Heart Association (AHA) approved program
Work Experience: Two (2) Years Work Experience as a Radiologic Technologist
Communication Skills: Exceptional Verbal (e.g., Public Speaking), Writing /Composing: Correspondence, Reports
Proficiencies:
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Medical Terms
Work Schedule: Weekends, Holidays, Flexible, Overtime, Travel
Equipment Operated: Ionizing Radiation equipment, image processing equipment, and other related clinical equipment
