Sr Software Engr
Rocket Travel, Inc has an opportunity for a Sr Software Engr to lead the end-to-end development of customer-facing travel web app, w/ a primary focus on frontend architecture & user exp optimization. Design, develop, & deploy new features specifically for high-traffic travel booking platforms integrated w/ third-party APIs. Reqs: Bach Degree or equiv. & 5 yrs exp. in: At least one modern programming language, such as Java, Scala, Kotlin, C#, Python, or JavaScript; Software development principles including object-oriented programming, design patterns, & data structures, as well as schema design & query optimization for dynamic travel data. Exp specified must include 3 years of exp w/ each of the following: Building & maintaining distributed systems & microservices architecture; Relational & non-relational databases, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB; Storing & retrieving travel booking & user profile data.
