Definition: The Student Intern works under the direction of the Instructor. The Instructor assists in preparing resources and materials used during instruction, demonstrations, and skills rotations. The skills instructor works in the industry and has the ability to teach the skills of the programs industry.

TASK:
The list of essential functions is not exhaustive and may be supplemented.

• Weeding and cultivating garden beds
• Planting seeds and seedlings as directed
• Watering plants and maintaining proper irrigation
• Harvesting crops when ready
• Assisting in composting and recycling efforts
• Other duties as assigned by the Garden Team
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Ability to read and communicate effectively in English, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Eco-Action Team member
Must be able to work outside
Current immunization record MMR immunization unless born before January 1, 1957

Salary Range $15.00/Hr
Location: Sunnyside High School Garden

Start Date: June 2, 2025 - July 22, 2025 Hours per Week: up to 4.5 hours per week
