DEFINITION: The Coordinator will assist in designing and implementing innovative standards-based cross-disciplinary programs. During the session, duties will include: on-site supervision (materials, discipline, district and school policies), curriculum, scheduling, substitute teaching and other duties as assigned by the Assistant Superintendent

TASKS:
Planning and Organizing
January February:
Get School Board approval of programs, sites, dates and tuition.
Write and arrange for publicity printing (Sunnyside Story article, brochure, newspaper, web, etc.).
Arrange for school sites.
Meet with and advise assistant superintendent or designee: timetables, materials, programs, etc.
March:
Do presentation with administrators, counselors, and parent groups
Continue publicizing summer school options
Set up registration process: record keeping, class assignments, budget.
Coordinate summer school curriculum with District adopted curriculum, materials and training.
Establish communication with parenter summer school option (online, transition programs, etc)
Implementation
April May:
Oversee set up registration, classes, budget, personnel, materials, fee waivers, interviews, food services, custodial, computer management system, substitute teacher list and liaison.
June July:
Administration of summer school program.
Program Evaluation
Submit exit report and budget by July 30.
Report student progress.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Work is performed in an indoor environment. Work requires frequent sitting, standing, bending, repetitive motion, vision to monitor and lifting up to 15 pounds.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Administrative credential required
Experience in program coordination preferred
High school experience preferred
Addendum: $9,100 Start Date: June 01, 2021 to June 25, 2021
