Job Description
I. POSITION SUMMARY
The Talent Management Lead plays an integral role in cultivating a high-performance culture focused on personal and professional growth and inclusive leadership excellence. Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, they will act as an ambassador, advocate, and support for talent solutions across the business. The incumbent will collaborate with Business and HR Leaders to understand business objectives; create career pathway tools with clearly defined steps for growth; identify, develop, and deliver talent management solutions; and enable a Performance Excellence culture that fosters talent growth and organizational health. They will be responsible for managing and executing efforts related to performance management, talent review and succession planning, and Team Member development and retention.
II. ESSENTIAL DUTIES
* Lead day-to-day operations of talent management programs and initiatives that support the talent life cycle
* Manage and execute the annual Performance Excellence calendar, including mid-year and year-end performance reviews, talent reviews, and calibrations
* Design and facilitate performance management training programs that enable a culture of Performance Excellence (e.g., SMART goal setting, giving effective feedback, evaluation and calibration training for leaders)
* Design, develop, and implement the talent review process to identify high potential talent, ensure a strong leadership bench, and support succession planning efforts
* Consult with Business and HR Leaders to identify current and future competency, skill, and talent gaps and partner with key stakeholders to develop programs and initiatives to address the gaps
* Collect, analyze, and maintain data to inform and identify participants for targeted leadership development
* Ensure DE&I metrics are incorporated into the talent strategy and execution of talent management initiatives
* Support the maintenance and execution of the performance management system, including current standards of performance and evaluation instruments
* Develop, execute, and sustain programs and tools for workforce retention, promotion, and succession planning and provide appropriate training for leaders
* Use data-driven methods to evaluate the effectiveness of talent management programs and provide insights to workforce needs for future success
* Support Inclusive Leadership initiatives including, but not limited to, Restaurant Support Center Onboarding and New Leader Accelerations
III. REQUIREMENTS
Education:
* Bachelors degree in human resources or related field required.
Experience/Skills:
* 4-5 years of broad HR experience including talent management and/or performance management
* Experience supporting organization-wide talent management programs that cover performance management, talent development, coaching, succession planning, data analytics, and relationship management
* Ability to develop positive working relationships and maintain partnerships across multiple functions and role levels in an organization
* Proven organization, decision-making, problem-solving, and project management and execution skills
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt and respond to opportunities in a dynamic work environment
* Ability to work in a collaborative, matrixed team environment
* Ability to engage and inspire action through compelling communication
* Experience facilitating meetings and presenting to various audiences
* Experience capturing metrics and producing/delivering various employment reports
* Strong attention to detail and discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
* Ability to work a hybrid schedule, including three days per week directly from the Restaurant Support Center located in Tampa, FL (No relocation assistance is available for this position.)
