    Position Summary:
    To plan, organize and implement CTE courses in alignment with the state and district requirements for the appropriate program, in a learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their educational potential. This includes completing all required CTE program components outlined by ADE and the district, such as facilitation of student organization activities, engagement with industry, participation in CTE related professional development and committees, and maintaining familiarity with industry related equipment required by the appropriate CTE program.

    Reports to: Principal/Assistant Principal
    Full time: 1.0 FTE (Exempt), 40 hours per week
    Placement: Certified Salary Schedule Teacher Salary Schedule

    Training and Experience:
    • Bachelors degree or higher
    • Experience working in or teaching in the specific program area being hired to teach.

    Licensing/Certification Requirements:
    • Valid Arizona CTE Teaching certification for program/courses to be taught or be able to obtain a CTE Certificate.
    • Valid DPS Fingerprint Clearance Card.
