The Technical Product Manager is responsible for developing the digital program vision/strategy and ensuring product stakeholders needs and expectations are met. This is an instrumental role in transforming how our customers will perceive and interact with CVS.com in the digital space across several programs that generate multi-million-dollar business value to the organization and touch millions of consumers.
Accountable for identifying customer needs, prioritizing program features, and guiding the general flow of work through the program. To perform the role, they are expected collaborate very closely with other Product Managers, Release Train Engineers, Product Owners, and critical stakeholders in a scaled agile environment
Responsibilities:
Help define our engagement platform strategy - Conduct product and competitive research to help shape both long- and short-term strategy while providing quick and clear value add to the business as it relates to email, text & push notifications.
Set and own vision and roadmaps for their team as well as provide subject matter expertise and guidance on the product strategy to scrum teams and leaders.
Perform industry research, as necessary, to keep senior stakeholder and teams apprised of the competitive landscape as well as support feature development. Keep apprised of customer and business needs and translate them into short term and long-term product direction (outcome roadmap).
Develop business cases, make recommendations, and define what success will look like for Epics that are critical to driving value for CVS Health strategic priorities. Influence decisions, in partnership with senior business leaders, on digital investments and priorities.
Create a market-leading messaging experience across multiple channels (text, email, push, chat) - Drive the definition and development of best-in-class capabilities that substantially enhance the consumer experience and address CVS strategic and financial objectives.
Partner with architecture and engineering teams and other Product leaders to build and manage the program backlog to drive value pricing, licensing, and ROI. Prioritize and align the efforts of agile product teams and epics/features associated with programs - managing the flow of work through the program backlog into delivery and release.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 95,000
Maximum: 209,000
Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.
Required Qualifications
5-8+ years of Digital Product Management, Product Ownership, or Product Development experience.
5-8+ years of experience building user experiences for consumer-facing digital products at scale.
3+ years of experience with SMS or email messaging, push notifications, chat, and/or other customer engagement channels.
3+ years of experience with Agile processes, such as Scrum, XP, Kanban, Spotify Model, and/or the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
3+ years of supporting and collaborating with cross-functional teams, Executive Leadership and Clients. Good business acumen experience.
3+ years prior work experience in a technical role such as software engineering or architecture.
This can be a remote job.
Able to travel up to 10%
Preferred Qualifications
* MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
* 8-10+ years of digital product management experience.
* Experience in healthcare industry preferred, especially in Pharmacy.
* 1+ year Experience or equivalent training with SAFe agile framework.
Education
BA / BS Degree or Equivalent Work Experience.
