TS Field Technician Lead (Effective 2020-2021 SCHOOL YEAR)
Job Description
SUMMARY
Responsible for providing support in day-to-day administration of a computer network, software programs, installation, maintenance and upgrades. Understands commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the maintenance of computer hardware and peripherals. Supervises and coordinates the activities of TS Field Technicians.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Three years of technical support experience
A+ Technical Certification
Experience with installation configuration and support of Windows desktop platforms
Verbal & written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions
Any equivalent combination of experience, training, or education
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST).
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE
FBI fingerprint background check (at employees expense).
Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization
Must hold a current Drivers license and personal vehicle insurance coverage greater than or equal to the state required minimum for car insurance as described under Governing Board Policy: EEB-R-1 Business and Personnel Transportation Services - Transportation by Employees.
Reliable mode of personal transportation with evidence of auto insurance policy. Coverage must be valid throughout term of employment.

White Collar Grade 12
12 month position
Internal candidates will transfer at a rate commensurate with their bargaining unit language.
The hiring range for external candidates will be $17.61-$20.46, based on experience.
