| Position Summary | Performs diagnostic Ultrasound examinations for pre-mature neo-natal, neo-natal, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients, subsequent evaluation and treatment by attending physician. |

| Posting Department Description | This department, which performs over 180,000 diagnostic studies annually, utilizes a fully integrated PACS system and operates in a virtually filmless environment. Our PACS platform supports 11 x-ray rooms, 4 CT scanners, 9 ultrasound machines, 3 nuclear medicine scanners, 4 Digital Mammography Units, 1 Dexa Unit, 1 Breast PET Scanner, 1 Interventional Suite, and 3 MRIs. Imaging is performed at four locations throughout the Yuma community. |

| External Education | Education Required: High School or equivalent National registry with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) in sonographic imaging within 2 year of eligibility. Education Preferred: Multiple ARDMS/ ARRT/ or CCI registries in subspecialties for sonographic imaging. |
