Job Description

The incumbent in this position is responsible for maintaining the Public Works Department's equipment for all Seminole Tribe of Florida's Reservations. The incumbent in this position is responsible for performing advanced skilled electrical and mechanical work in the installation, modification, maintenance and repair of STOF's water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plant, pump station facilities, or lift station equipment and facilities. Employees in this classification utilize knowledge of several trades such as electrical, plumbing, welding, etc., to locate and correct malfunctions. The individual maintains and updates current of inventory, usage and records of all equipment, maintenance, usage and controls equipment key issuance. The individual prepares and coordinates preventive maintenance services calendars. High school diploma or equivalent GED is required. A minimum of four (4) years of related experience performing maintenance services to water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plant, pump station facilities, industrial maintenance experience, or similarly related equipment, is required. An equivalent combination of education/training and experience may be considered. Must possess and maintain a valid Florida Driver's License. Demonstrates excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages. Must have the ability to travel to all reservations, and to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
