Vice President - Research - Power and Utilities (NY, NY) for Evercore Partners Services East LLC to write & publish equity research reports of 13 companies under coverage universe & deep dive notes of the power & utilities sector by monitoring news & performing quantitative & qualitative analysis. Reqs Bachelor's deg in Bus Admin, Finance or rltd field of study, & 5 yrs of exp as Associate, Consultant, Analyst, or rltd jobs in a quantitative field in Finance, Bus or rltd field. Will accept Master's deg & 2 yrs of exp in lieu of Bachelor's deg & 5 yrs of exp. Exp specified must incl 5 yrs of exp (or 2 yrs of exp if Master's deg) w/ each of the following: research, explaining mkt events utilizing quantitative & analytical skills; MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint & Word); fin'l modeling; utilizing general acctg & finance principles; FactSet, Bloomberg, S&P Capital IQ; Bond regression model, absolute/relative valuation model; research resources incl EIA data, EEI data, & FRED economic data.
