Volunteer or Chaperone 2026-2027 School Year

IMPORTANT: All volunteers and chaperones must be approved by both the school site and Human Resources before serving.

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Queen Creek Unified School District! Your time and dedication are greatly appreciated.

Volunteer Requirements & Process:

• Parents/Legal Guardians (Daytime Classroom & Field Trips): No online application or fingerprint background check is required. Simply contact your child's school office directly to find volunteer opportunities.

• Overnight Events & Non-Parent/Guardian Volunteers: Must complete the full approval process below prior to serving.

Steps to Apply:

1. Submit Application: Apply online at QCUSD District Careers. Once submitted, you must contact the school office to inform them. The school office will review and forward your application to HR for processing.

2. Fingerprint Background Check: Once the school forwards your application, HR will contact you with instructions and payment codes for the Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) fingerprint check. Please allow 4 to 6 weeks for clearance.

You will receive an email notification once your background check clears, and the school office will reach out regarding next steps.

Field Trip chaperones must be at least 21 years of age.
Volunteers must reapply and complete a fingerprint background check every school year.
