Job Description
Summary
Performs daily functions to maintain efficient warehouse production. Incumbent also works with other warehouse staff, as well as the Branch Manager in performing essential duties and responsibilities.
Essential Functions

· Performs timely pulling, tagging, and stenciling of orders.
· Helps oversee the warehouse is kept clean and clear of debris.
· Delivers orders in a timely and accurate fashion following the quality procedures.
· Helps to unload and store product in its appropriate places.
· Helps maintain the inventory of product.
· Keeps a close eye on preventative maintenance of company vehicles (forklift, saw, overhead crane).
· Develops working knowledge and trouble shooting of the production ban saw, forklift and overhead crane.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This job operates in a warehouse environment. This role routinely uses forklifts, cranes, and other heavy equipment.

· Must be able to remain in a stationary position 34% of the time.
· Occasionally moves about the warehouse to access orders, supplies, etc.
· Constantly operates heavy equipment
· Expresses or exchanges ideas by means of the spoken word. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly or quickly.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, reach with their hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee is also required to drive. The employee must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds on a regular basis and occasionally lift up to 70 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and depth perception.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Travel
Travel is expected 0% of the time for this position.
Experience
· Ability to communicate effectively to customers, co-workers, managers, and anyone else who may ask for their assistance in a professional manner.
· Ability to calculate inventory levels with the use of a calculator
· Ability to read a tape measure and digital micrometer to check metal specifications
· Maintains a valid Driver’s license and remains insurable

Education
· High school diploma or GED, and/or one to two years warehouse related experience.
