Diversified Sourcing Solutions is seeking a skilled Welder to work with an established fabricating and manufacturing company based in Lakeland, Florida. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a dedicated team of professionals in a dynamic and rewarding work environment.
Position Details:
- Job Title: Welder
- Location: Lakeland, Florida
- Schedule: Monday - Friday 6 am - 2:30 pm
Compensation & Benefits:
- Pay Rate: $18 - $24 per hour

Responsibilities:
- Review project assignments/instructions from Team Leader
- Review drawings and welding details for projects
- Obtain an understanding of tasks given and develop action plans accordingly
- Set up welding machine and other required equipment
- Weld assemblies per the required standards
- Ensure work meets quality standards
- Consistently look for ways to eliminate waste and improve processes
- Operate welding and cutting equipment such as electrical and manual tools (saws, squares, calipers, grinders, etc)
Qualifications:
- 5 years of welding experience is required
- Utilize hoist cranes, dollies, and other shop equipment
- A combination of training and at least three years of experience with Mig, Tig and Flux Core is required for this position
- A "can do" attitude and a willingness and desire to learn and build your skills as a welder
* High School diploma or GED required
* Ability to consistently produce high-quality welds on all fabricated components
* Ability to pass AWS D1.1 welding qualifications as well as AWS D14.6 if it applies to their shop
* Read and understand weld detail drawings, welding procedures, and shop travelers.
* Fluent in English, working with written and verbal communication
Requirements:
Must be willing to submit to and successfully pass a drug screen & background check.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
