Job Description
Effective January 3, 2022, all CPLC Employees and all Service Providers, are required to be Fully Vaccinated against COVID-19. Newly hired employees, who are not Fully Vaccinated at the time of hire, are expected to begin a vaccination series immediately upon hire. CPLC recognizes medical and religious exemptions to the COVID-19 vaccination requirement, in accordance with applicable law and upon approval by CPLC. However, any person approved for an exemption, without exception, is subject to masking, weekly COVID-19 testing at their expense, and other requirements established by CPLC from time to time.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS
The Youth Services Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and organizing youth sexual and domestic violence outreach and training program for the community. To promote healing in children (ages 1-10) who have been indirectly exposed to domestic/sexual violence and to decrease the victimization rate among vulnerable children and their families.

TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is performed in the community, and the De Colores Community Based office.
ACCOUNTABILITY
Reports to and is supervised directly by the Community Based Program Manager. Employee is also accountable for understanding and complying with CPLC policies and procedures.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Ability to work with youth who have experienced domestic and/or sexual violence.
- Experience providing supportive services in a crisis environment.
- Generalist knowledge in general mental health youth treatment.
- Ability to work in an active environment.
- Excellent networking skills.
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Possess a valid driver's license and ability to be insured under automobile insurance policy.
- Able to work a flexible schedule as needed per program requirements.
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Have good organization and time management skills.
- Ability to obtain fingerprint clearance card, CPR and First Aid.
- Must be 21 years of age.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND COMPETENCIES
- Will provide child advocacy (including mobile advocacy), crisis intervention, safety planning, supportive services, and referrals for children (ages 1-10) indirectly exposed to domestic/sexual violence.
- Will receive the Triple P (Parenting classes) training and deliver trainings in a group setting. Will provide referrals for crisis intervention and other intervention services for victims identified in the Triple P Group.
- Increase collaboration among non-profit domestic/sexual violence victim service providers, and organizations serving children (ages 1 to 10) and their families so that a full spectrum of strategies that address prevention, intervention, and treatment is provided.
- Will design and implement an assessment to determine the Phoenix MSA's strengths and needs in 1) prevention measures for children who are at risk of exposure to domestic/sexual violence; and 2) services for children who have been indirectly exposed to domestic/sexual violence. Will develop a strategic plan, based on the assessment to implement a community-wide coordinated response (including outreach strategies) to address determined needs.
- Will oversee the implementation of the above strategic plan, ensure project activities are coordinated across the community served, review implementation successes and challenges, evaluate outcomes, provide continuous quality improvement, and share results of the project with community stakeholders.
- Will recruit and facilitate a Coordinated Community Response (CCR) Team. This team will be comprised of non-profit domestic/sexual violence victim service providers, domestic/sexual violence prevention programs, and organizations serving children (ages 1 to 10) and their families.
- The Project Coordinator will lead the CCR Team, which will meet monthly (or more frequently if needed) throughout the first six months of the grant period and quarterly thereafter. The Project Coordinator will set a meeting schedule, develop meeting agendas, and record meeting minutes.
- Develop a resource manual, which will include a list and description of service providers in the Phoenix MSA that address the needs of children who have been indirectly exposed to domestic/sexual violence or are at risk of exposure and share with CCR Team, law enforcement, first responders, the justice system, behavioral health and medical care providers, childcare providers, social service agencies, child protective services, and other child-serving organizations
- Project Coordinator will implement quarterly outreach activities for children indirectly exposed to domestic/sexual violence and their non-offending parent as well as children and their families who are at risk for exposure.
- When applicable, participate as an active member of De Colores Community Based staff in the areas of program activities, staff meetings, planning and problem solving.
- Maintain client records for all services rendered.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
